The eponymous Hal’s Café opened in 2011 as a downtown eatery tucked in the confluence of Portland’s Pearl District and Pride Plaza. In 2023 we renamed the café for our beloved Hal Finkelstein, Zeus’s orchestrator-in-chief until his passing in 2022.
